Om is said to be the source of all creation. All of the universe's power is contained in this seemingly insignificant sound. It represents the start, middle, and end of everything, or the past, present, and future. When you chant Om, you become more conscious of the physical reality of this universe as well as of your own subtle mental imprints, emotions, thoughts, and worldviews.
