Yin Yang
The most well-known representation of dualism in ancient Chinese philosophy is the idea that seemingly opposing or opposed elements may be complimentary or related and even give origin to one another. The idea of Yin (chaos) and Yang (order) illustrates how order emerges from chaos. Chaos finally overtakes order, demonstrating the connection between the two. Every aspect of existence revolves around an order/chaos cycle. By learning to reconcile polarities and dualities within oneself, one achieves inner peace.
