One of the first geometric forms and a representation of development and creation. Diverse civilizations have used spirals as symbols that are related to nature, the seasons, and other aspects of existence. Spirals are said to symbolize cosmic energy and the never-ending cycle of life, death, and reincarnation, according to psychiatrist Carl Jung.
