Quan Yin

The Quan Yin mythology describes how she attained enlightenment and appeared before the gates of heaven. When she heard the cries of the people on Earth, she stopped entering after the gates had opened for her. Quan Yin went back to Earth in accordance with her immortal essence as a guardian and a god of unending kindness and compassion. She came to Earth to alleviate suffering and to heal and defend people who are harmed or in need.
